5/3 Went to City Market BBQ in Luling, yum! It is a famous BBQ place that was about 8 miles from the State Park.

 Ordered by the pound, so got one pound each of ribs and brisket plus white bread. Food comes wrapped in butcher paper and you can eat there or take it home. Some of it made it home.

                                 They are stoking the wood smoke pit and cutting the ribs.

                                          We sat by a real cowboy with a hat and spurs!

This is a pretty view looking to the west that we saw on our way back to the park.
